 Elena Petrovna Shchekina - Odessa artist, candidate of culturology, associate professor of the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History of ONPU. 
 Born in 1980. 
 In 1994 she graduated from the Izmail art school, after which she studied in the workshop of the Izmail artist Vladimir Dudnik. Student of the legendary Odessa artist Yuri Egorov. In 2002 she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Odessa National University. I.I. Mechnikova. In 2005 - graduate school, specializing in Philosophical Anthropology, Philosophy of Culture. He teaches courses: “Types and Genres of Art”, “Applied Cultural Studies” and “Cultural Identity in the Global World”, takes part in international conferences. 
 Since 2002, regularly participates in various art exhibitions, as well as in international exhibitions. 
 The works of E. Shchekina are in the collection of the Odessa Museum of Modern Art, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, France, the USA, and Israel.
