Y. Kovalenko "Priluki", 1999,

 Born in 1931, in the city of Priluki, Chernihiv region. He graduated from the Odessa Theater and Art College, the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. Teachers by specialty: I. Korotkova, Yu. Khovraleva. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Participated in exhibitions: republican, regional and international. Held 10 solo exhibitions in Odessa. Major works: “A City by the Sea” (1968-69), “A Boy by the Desna” (1971), “Grandfather with Pears” (1971, Odessa Art Museum), “Light and Shadow” (1981, Odessa Art Museum). Works are stored in the USA, Canada, France, Holland, Sweden, Israel, Germany. He lived and worked in the city of Odessa. He died in 2004.
